I love listening to music, especially when I am travelling. I mean who doesn’t, right? And with online services like Spotify, you can arrange all your music collection in one single place. So, you hope on the train, click a button, and enjoy the scenery with your favorite track.

However, the last time I went on a vacation and there was no internet, I couldn’t listen to a single song on my computer the entire time. It was so frustrating to be honest. When I came back from the vacation, I decided to backup a few of my playlists from Spotify for offline listening. It’s then that I realized that if you do not have Spotify Premium, you will not be able to download songs on Spotify! To make things worse, those downloaded music can be only played with Spotify app because of DRM protection. But the question is, are the features worth paying for when you have other free options available as an alternative.
